True, i noiced that when i smoked most of the day it enhanced my adhd symptoms too, however for a time period i was smoking a small amount (one bowl) at night, and i noticed that most of my symptoms went away, i was able to remeber which tasks i had started, which ones i needed to do yet, and it helped me to begin to socialize properly, so i belive that if monitered correctly cannabis can actualy help people with adha

Please learn about the drugs before you read something up on a video. Everybody can read about the drugs, but if you don't understand the basic mechanism by which these drugs work, please leave out the mechanism as you clearly have no understanding of what you are reading.

Seriously theres no point arguing with this guy he's a idiot!
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
The sociohistorical account of ADD goes back even further than the 1960s. most probably during the time in American history that witnessed a major shift in the philosophy and pragmatics of the American educational system. It is no coincendence that ADD was invented at a time when American industry-and immigration-exploded on the scene. The aims of education, as an indoctrinating and socializing institution, came to influence many a behavioral scientist.
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
one correction: ADD is really neither scientifically or medically informed. What does inform the discourse of ADD, and by extension, the discourse of madness, is social, ethical and moral considerations. We drug over 13 million children in the U.S., not for medical reasons, but for practical reasons, one being to force-drug a child to conform to a programatic life, in a programatic environment (starting with school, and continuing throughout an individual's "productive" lifespan!)
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
" It's been studied, tested, and treated for a long ass time" Actually the "real" thrust in this so-called study and testing of ADHD came about in the early 1960s, probably influenced by the launching of Sputnik. It seems, if my historical account is correct, that ADD was recast, into a new psychological and psychiartric jargon that sprang up; ostensibly to make scientific, that which is neither scientific or medical: mental illness! Not all that glitters is gold; as the science of ADD.
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
People, as this Therapist(?), I see as the sincerest example of an arch-coercer! Claiming one's collectivist mission to be that of spreading the gospel of mental health, and its sacraments (of mental health), is not in keeping with those underlying values shared by ANY open and free society. Collectivist oriented mental health programs are not coterminous to the ideals of a free society and the non-paternalistic presence of state power!
NotJustAnotherRogue (5 months ago)
@whiff1962 Well adhd (add) does exist. It's been studied, tested, and treated for a long ass time. But the reason potheads argue that it works is because they think it cures everything from cancer to aids. From my personal experiences with weed (I used to smoke a fucking lot) it caused inattentiveness, lack of concentration, and lack of interest in school. So oddly enough in me it enhanced my adhd-like symptoms.
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
(cont.) , this group positing that it is the endocannabinoid system that needs ratching up (adjusting, etc.), while another group, claims that it is the "prefrontal cortex" that results in poor impulse control, inattention, and a host of other so-called "symptoms". ADD used to be just for kids, just like some cerereals. Now adults have been "shown" to also be "stricken", and that, makes perfect therapeutic sense (laughing all the way to the bank).
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
You jumped in a bit late on this conversation, and your comment reflects so. I am saying that nothing works for ADD because ADD is NOT. As for your "weed doesn't work" argument, I would point you to a sizeable population of pot smoker who would claim otherwise-it does make one ask if its the science or the politics of ADD that is being debated! The differing ADD theories are like protestants sects; all claiming the same Jesus, only his own sectarian version. And so it is with the ADD theorizing
NotJustAnotherRogue (5 months ago)
@whiff1962 Lol I can tell you right now weed doesn't help.
hididdlyho82 (5 months ago)
Mmmmh I think the reason you aren't able to send me anything is I may have banned you on another of your accounts, and now you seem to be jumping to conclusions! Hypocrite? I think so!
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
So are you looking upon the Therapeutic profession to fill in the blanks in your life; as a means of making sense, and ordering, the moral and social collisions in your life? I am going to guess that you are looking to make medical fact out of aspects of your life better left to moral and ethical contemplation? This labeling business is a slippery slope, with many promises made, and few realizable. Morality, and the so-called therapeutic take on human conduct, are not commensurable. Good luck!
hididdlyho82 (5 months ago)
You don't read my replies do you? I'm saying tell me then without the sudo nonsense why ADHD does not exist? Send me the reading list I have struggled to find information on the topic again I couldn't have formed a opinion years ago as I have only recently learned of ADHD or at least what it is!
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
If you have the timerity to remove the block on your YT account, I can send you some rather interesting links and articles. What harm might it present, being generally better informed before you take the plunge of faith of being "disordered'? I would suggest a few really good book titles to read, however, I think that you might have already formed your opinion years ago.
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
You certainly present a very conflicted, creepy kind of character, even a tad bit "neurotic". However, I am willing to have a discussion with you, and not simply a exercise in oneupmanship. I have presented my viewpoints, not to convert anyone, but to help clarify many of the morally problematic aspects of psychiatry and its allied fields. In the end, each adult is free to choose his form of reality and faith, and to embrace that which conforms to the latter, and to discard the rest: freedom.
hididdlyho82 (5 months ago)
Yes you bad fire bad it burn! I'm not on medication yet which you'd know if you took the time to read my replys perhaps you should start taking ritalin also?
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
Sorry, I thought you took ritalin. My bad.
hididdlyho82 (5 months ago)
If writing more irrelevent crap makes you right, I guess you must be right! Congratulations you can take your fingers out your ears and stop screaming I can't hear you! Great argument sound reasoning!LOL
hididdlyho82 (5 months ago)
I like the way your starting to get nasty because you know I'm right, I don't take drugs I don't even smoke! So keep trying! If being stubborn and refusing to lose a argument ment you had brains you'd be a genius, but guess what it doesn't and your not! You can't win the argument so you start "nit picking" my spelling, what a loser, this is coming from someone who misspelt opinion! You are priceless!
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
You might be better off laying off those drugs, man. I think they are messing with your ability to communicate and spell. Really, you should go to smoking weed; after all, the potheads have their version of ADD, as many other groups today. Their's is called the "Endocannabinoid theory", a theory that repudiates all others. Long story short, your faith is widespread, so take some comfort: you aren't alone.
hididdlyho82 (5 months ago)
I've obviously "rattled" you with my personality descripition of your personality, sorry if I upset you didn't mean to paint a picture of a control freak! You have your opinion I have mine! If I choose to take medicine to improve my health or well being then thats my business.
hididdlyho82 (5 months ago)
Looking at the world from a religous perspective does lead to a degree of bias, although it can be usful to have a perspective to begin with that can be proved or disproved, you fall into the trap that you discount fact when it does not conclude with your opinion, much in the same way a religon would! You are mimicking those decision making skills, I am afraid I don't know what you are refering to when you talk of my "ascribed self"? Do tell how I delimit myself from the rest of the world?
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
religion is cause, principle, or system of tenents held with ardor, devotion, conscientiousness, and faith; a value held to be of supreme importance. How might you conceive of yourself, without the label of ADD figuring first and foremost in how you navigate the moral and social world around you. I am going to guess that your ascribed self (thanks to your faith) is rather a counfounding element in how you delimit yourself from the rest of the world!
whiff1962 (5 months ago)
Acually your assuming such impotance of your so-called disorder is moral nihilism, and is reflective of a person who has cowers before the alter of medicine. Your acceptance of the quackery of psych labels, is in no small way YOUR moral failure. I, at least, came to recognize such.
